cookies an' stuff

Like everyone else, we use cookies for site analysis. These cookies are not a sort of biscuit, but little files we put on your computer that let us know if you're a new visitor to this site, or if you have been here before. These cookies also tell us roughly where you are from, how you found us and what you do when you're here. We use Adobe Business Catalyst to host this site, and it has a nifty little dashboard that does all of this analysis for us (which is great).

This site only uses first-party cookies and does not store any personal information. The site will work just as well if you have cookies (or the lights) turned off. We know that this is not really very interesting, but we have to tell you - sorry!

presence analytics

We use presence analytics to understand how each of our Wi-Fi hotspots is used; for example, to understand how many people are connected to an individual Wireless Access Point and for how long. This is information is important to us, not least because it allows us to see how popular the Wi-Fi service is and plan how we can improve it. To do this we collect the MAC address of the device you use to connect to the Wi-Fi service as well as the MAC addresses of any device that passes by our access points. Think of it as another way of saying THANK YOU for all this lovely free Wi-Fi. If you would rather we did not collect this information you can opt out here.

Ownership and Attribution

and finally

Finally (hurrah!), this site is best enjoyed sitting down (or standing up if you like) with something that connects to the internet. If you believe you have reached this site telepathically please let us know.
